Grand Virtual Poker Rooms & Reviews .
Everest Poker is one of the few using Grand Virtual poker software in the online poker market, and were one of the many smaller startup rooms when they began. They have a few very unique and interesting things working for them.

They offer their software in many languages other than English, including French, Japanese, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and a few others. This fact alone will fuel their growth, as they are the only software that I can find that has this great feature.
The other unique offering from Everest is the availability of freeroll sit-n-go's that have a real money prize pool. This is another feature I can't find offered elsewhere.
The Grand Virtual online poker software itself is designed as well as any other, with nothing that sets them apart from the competition. The lobby has tabs across the top to choose from real money or play money tables and three tabs beneath these to pick standard tables, sit-n-go's or multi table tournaments.
Once at a table, the amount in the pot is clearly displayed on the table at all times and the action buttons are at the bottom of the screen in the middle. For the no-limit games, they use a combination slider click system. You can slide the arrow along a bar to increase your bet or you can click on the up arrow to increase one bet at a time. Play is ten-handed at a round table, as opposed to most oblong tables, that appears cramped but is not bad after getting used to it.
Though there are tabs for Omaha, Omaha/8, 7 Card Stud and 7 Card Stud high/low, the only games available at this time are limit, pot-limit and no-limit holdem in ring game and tournament action, but that is sure to change in the future.
There are play money tables available as well as micro-limit. Limit holdem is offered with blinds from .02/.04 to 5/10, pot-limit with blinds from .25/.25 to 5/5 and no-limit from .02/.02 to 10/10. There are many micro and low limit games running 24 hours a day, with the majority of players at the no-limit tables.
Sit-n-go tournaments are available with buy-ins from .05 to 110 in addition to the freerolls mentioned above and the multi table tournaments have buy-ins from 1 up to 320. All of their tournaments with the exception of the World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour satellites have buy-ins of 12 or less. There are over 25 tournaments every day.
